Why families choose Tenderly—and stay with us

We've built our approach around what families actually need: reliability, transparency, and care that feels genuinely human.

What sets Tenderly apart

Each of the following reflects a deliberate decision about how we work—not a marketing claim.

Professionally trained aides

Every care aide completes structured pre-placement training covering personal care technique, dementia awareness, basic first aid, and communication with elderly clients.

Flexible, adjustable scheduling

Arrangements can be hourly, half-day, full-day, or round-the-clock. As your loved one's situation evolves, the schedule evolves with it.

Regular family updates

Families receive brief, clear updates after each visit. Nothing is left to guesswork—you always know how your loved one is doing.

Continuity of care

We assign consistent aides so your loved one builds familiarity and trust over time—not a rotating roster of unfamiliar faces.

Medical liaison capability

Our aides can accompany clients to appointments, manage medication schedules, and keep clear records that physicians and families can reference.

Background-checked team

All aides are background-checked and reference-verified before any placement. Your household's safety and privacy are non-negotiable.

Expertise you can rely on

Our care team brings together over a decade of combined experience across hospital, residential, and in-home settings in Taiwan. That background means our aides recognise the particular challenges of elder care—physical, emotional, and practical—and handle them with knowledge rather than guesswork.

  • Trained in personal hygiene and mobility assistance
  • Dementia awareness and communication skills
  • Basic first aid and emergency response protocols
  • Nutrition awareness for older adults

"We don't hire carers and send them out. We train professionals and support them so that your family receives the benefit of that investment every single day."

— Chen Chieh-Wei, Care Director

Our documentation process

After each visit, your assigned aide completes a brief care note covering what was done, any observations about your loved one's health or mood, and notes on anything the family should be aware of. These records are available to family members and can be shared with healthcare providers on request.

This structured approach to documentation keeps everyone—family, aide, and physician—working from the same picture.

A structured, transparent process

Every arrangement begins with a thorough intake conversation, followed by a care plan written in clear language. We don't use jargon, and we don't ask families to navigate complex systems.

  • Written care plan shared with family before start
  • Post-visit care notes for every session
  • Scheduled family check-in calls included

Service that respects your time

Families have enough on their plate. Our coordination team is reachable during business hours for questions, schedule changes, or concerns—and we aim to respond within a few hours, not days. When something urgent arises, we prioritise it.

  • Responsive coordination team during business hours
  • Schedule adjustments handled with short notice
  • Covered absences managed proactively

"What I valued most was being able to phone and speak to someone who actually knew my father's situation. There was no call centre, no ticket number—just a straightforward conversation."

— Family of a Tenderly client, Zhongshan District

What only Tenderly offers

A handful of specific commitments that are simply part of how we work—not extras you pay for separately.

Built-in schedule flexibility

No long-term lock-ins. Arrangements adjust monthly based on what your family needs—more support, less, or a change in focus.

One-to-one aide assignment

Your loved one works with the same aide, not a pool. Familiarity and trust build over time—and that matters enormously in elder care.

Post-visit written notes

After every session, we write a brief care note that families and physicians can refer to. Nothing important is passed along verbally and forgotten.

Named coordination contact

Every family has a named coordination contact—a real person who knows your loved one's situation and can be reached directly.
