Rooted in care,
shaped by family
We started Tenderly because we believed that older adults in Taiwan deserve personalised, consistent support—right where they feel most at ease.
Back to HomeOur story
Tenderly was established in Taipei by a small group of social care professionals who had spent years working within hospital and residential settings. What they observed—again and again—was that older adults fared better, and felt more like themselves, in the familiar surroundings of their own homes. That observation became the foundation of everything Tenderly does.
We opened our first office in Neihu District and began by supporting a handful of families in the Taipei basin. Word spread not through advertising but through the experiences of those families—parents who remained comfortable and independent, and adult children who could carry on with their own lives without constant worry.
Today, Tenderly supports older adults across the greater Taipei area with three structured care arrangements and a team of thoroughly trained, personally vetted aides. Our approach has not changed: each arrangement is shaped around the individual, not the other way around.
Our mission remains straightforward—to help older adults in Taiwan live well at home, and to give their families the quiet confidence that comes from knowing someone reliable is there.
Our Mission
To provide respectful, skilled in-home support that preserves independence and brings families peace of mind.
Our Vision
A Taiwan where every older adult can age at home with the personalised support they need—consistently and with dignity.
Our Values
Empathy, honesty, and dependability—three qualities we look for when selecting aides and hold ourselves to every day.

Our quality standards

Background verification
Every aide undergoes a formal background check, reference verification, and identity confirmation before joining the team.
Professional training
Aides complete structured training in personal care, basic first aid, dementia awareness, and communication with older adults prior to their first placement.
Ongoing skills review
Quarterly skills assessments keep our aides current with best practice in elder care and allow us to identify and address any gaps early.
Privacy & confidentiality
Client information and household details are kept strictly confidential. All aides sign a formal confidentiality agreement as part of their contract.
Documented care records
We maintain daily care logs that families and physicians can consult. Records are kept securely and shared only with authorised parties.
Family feedback loops
Families are invited to regular check-in calls and can raise any concern at any time. We treat every piece of feedback as an opportunity to improve.
In-home elderly care in Taipei: what it means to us
Taiwan has a long tradition of family-centred support for older generations. As modern life grows busier and family members increasingly find themselves spread across districts or even countries, the practical ability to provide daily care can become difficult. Tenderly exists to bridge that gap—offering professional home assistance that is rooted in the same warmth and attentiveness families would provide if they were there in person.
The Neihu District of Taipei, where our office is based, gives us easy access to clients across the city's northern and eastern areas. Our aides travel to homes throughout greater Taipei, bringing consistent, skilled support to older adults who prefer to remain in their own living spaces rather than transition to residential settings.
We take seriously the trust that families place in us. That trust is earned through transparency, reliable communication, and a care team that approaches each client as an individual—not a routine. Every person who uses our services has particular preferences, a personal history, and a daily rhythm we learn and respect from the very first visit.
